This wonderful and surprising architectural complex is nestled in the middle of the jungle of Yucatan. The construction of its main buildings did not begin until 600 B.C. The main building is known as the Temple of Kukulcán, it is 23 m. high and was built on previous temples. The Temple of the Warriors is an impressive set of terraces, columns, pillars and courtyards. The Ball Court, where the ancient Mayans practiced this popular game, is 83 m. long.
